Musique@Paris Sciences et Lettres is an association governed by the law of July 1, 1901. Its purpose is “to associate the traditional research and teaching activities of higher education establishments with collective amateur instrumental and choral practice, and the production of shows, in order to ensure their cultural influence”
Johan Farjot is its musical director. He is assisted by Julien Rezak.
The association is directed by a board of 11 members with two representants (Marie-Lys Mehri assisted by Juliette Dumont for the orchestra and Brigitte Quentin assisted by Philomène Vuillard for the choir).
The board is composed of :
– Antoine Moreau, President
– Etty Jauffret, Vice-presidente
– Michel Bresson, Treasurer
– Dominique Blocman, secretary general.
In addition, Jonathan Scott, managing director and Guy Llorca, stage manager ensure the administrative and logistic needs of the ensemble.
Reharsals take place on Monday evenings for the Orchestra, on Tuesday evenings for the Choir and on Wednesday evenings for the Chamber Choir. Precise schedules are available on the blog.
